Which plan is right for me?

Start on Free. It has unlimited events, free email campaigns about your events on Trybe and 5,000 free credits for texts with every paid event. Take Pro if you want more than one automation or Instagram auto-reply running at once, more than one ad campaign, your own text number, or more than two people on the account. Venues, festivals and networks that want Trybe under their own brand talk to us about Enterprise.

Is Free really free? What do I pay if I sell nothing?

Nothing. Publishing events and selling tickets is free. You receive the full ticket price. The buyer pays a 10% + $0.30 service fee at checkout, card processing included. Email campaigns about your events on Trybe are free, and every paid event comes with 5,000 free credits for texts. You only pay Trybe if you choose Pro or buy more credits.

What does “1 at a time” mean on Free?

Accepted Answer

You can have one automation and one Instagram auto-reply switched on at the same time, and publish one ad campaign. Build as many drafts as you like; nothing is lost. When you switch on a second one, or publish a second ad campaign, Trybe asks you to upgrade.

What does it cost to email or text my list?

Accepted Answer

Email campaigns about your events on Trybe are free and unlimited. Newsletters and emails about events sold elsewhere use 1 credit each.

Every paid event on Trybe comes with 5,000 free credits for texts. A short text uses 10 credits in Canada and the US, or 25 elsewhere, so that’s up to 500 short texts in Canada and the US, or 200 elsewhere. Trybe adds your event link and a STOP line to each text, so a long message, an emoji or letters like ê and ç can make one text count as 2 or 3, and you see the cost before you send.

Extra credits cost $1.60 per 1,000, in packs from $8, and never expire. When credits run out, nothing is charged. Texts pause until you choose to buy more.

Can I run campaigns on Trybe if I sell tickets somewhere else?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pre-sale pages, campaigns, automations and your link in bio work for events sold anywhere, or for no event at all. Labels and artists use Trybe this way. Emails and texts about those events use credits, 1 per email and 10 per short text in Canada and the US, and your first account comes with 400 free. If you sign up to promote other people’s events, texts and buying credits need Pro.

What do I get for paying yearly?

Accepted Answer

Pro costs $840 a year instead of $948, in US dollars. Paying yearly adds 50,000 credits every year, and credits never expire.

Question 7

Can I change plans or cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from Billing. Upgrades apply immediately. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then the account returns to Free with everything you built still there.

Do I need a Stripe account to get paid?

Only to sell tickets. Campaigns, pre-sale pages, automations and Instagram auto-replies work without one.
