What is Mobile Money?

Mobile Money on Trybe is how fans in Côte d'Ivoire pay for tickets on trybe.fm. At checkout they choose Orange Money, MTN MoMo, Moov or Wave, or pay with a local card. Payments in Côte d'Ivoire run through Paystack, and every event there is priced in XOF (FCFA), so fans see the ticket price, the fee and the total in the currency they use every day.

Organizers hosting events on Trybe pay 0% platform fees: you set the ticket price and the buyer pays one service fee at checkout. To get paid, you add your Ivorian bank account (RIB) in your payout settings. Trybe checks the format of the RIB and its key, and your sales settle to that account through Paystack. Automatic scheduled payouts are not available in Côte d'Ivoire. Two ticket types are not available for events in Côte d'Ivoire yet: waiting lists and approval-based (exclusive) tickets.
