What you get

  • Prefilled from the event: radius around the venue, age range, gender

  • Advantage+ audience lets Meta reach beyond your settings when it pays off

  • Daily budget from $5, per ad set or shared across the campaign

  • Meta's reach estimate and a warning when a budget is too small

  • Custom audiences and lookalikes of buyers in the ad-set editor

What is Audiences & budget?

Audiences and budget is the third step of a Trybe Meta campaign, for organizers and promoters. Trybe prefills the audience from the event itself: a radius around the venue (click a city to set it, within the range Meta allows), an age range, gender, and Advantage+ audience, which lets Meta reach people outside your settings when it predicts better results. You set a daily budget, from $5 a day, with a start and end date, and Meta's reach estimate updates as you go; Trybe also nudges you when a budget is so small it rarely finds ticket buyers. After publishing, the ad-set editor goes further: locations with radius, age, gender, Advantage+, a budget per ad set or one budget Meta splits across the campaign, the optimisation goal, the pixel and conversion event, placements, and custom audiences or lookalikes, including people who visited your event page or started checkout. Changing optimisation or events can restart Meta's learning phase, and Trybe says so before you save. Every ad set can be paused or resumed from Trybe.

How it works

  1. 1

    Start from the event

Trybe reads the venue and prefills a radius, an age range and gender. Adjust anything, or leave the defaults.

  2. 2

    Set the budget

Pick a daily amount from $5, choose start and end dates, and read Meta's reach estimate before you publish.

  3. 3

    Refine the ad sets

After publishing, edit locations, age, gender, Advantage+, budgets, optimisation goal, placements and custom audiences per ad set.

  4. 4

    Pause or scale

Watch reach, spend and verified tickets per ad set, then pause, resume or raise budgets from Trybe.

Questions organizers ask

Who will my ads be shown to?

By default, people within a radius of your venue, in the age range and gender you pick, with Advantage+ audience letting Meta widen delivery when it predicts better results. You can edit all of this before publishing and again in the ad-set editor while the campaign runs.

What is the minimum budget for a Meta campaign in Trybe?

$5 a day per ad set. Trybe shows Meta's reach estimate and warns you when a budget is so small that it rarely finds ticket buyers, because a sale needs enough people to see the ad first.

Can I set one budget for the whole campaign?

Yes. A campaign can carry one budget that Meta splits across its ad sets, or each ad set can have its own daily budget. Trybe shows which mode a campaign uses and where to change the amount.

Can I retarget people who visited my event page?

Yes. Trybe fires pixel events from your event and checkout pages, so audiences of page visitors or checkout starters, and lookalikes of your buyers, can be chosen in the ad-set editor as custom audiences.

Why can't I set a strict maximum age?

With Advantage+ audience on, Meta does not allow a strict maximum age below 65; your range guides delivery instead of limiting it. Turn Advantage+ off on the ad set if you need a hard cap.

Do audience changes take effect right away?

Yes. Edits in the ad-set editor apply immediately to new delivery. Changing the optimisation goal, conversion event or bidding can restart Meta's learning phase, and Trybe tells you before you save.
