Tickets sold, verified at checkout

Meta models what it can't see. Trybe counts completed orders that arrived through each ad's own tracked link, shows tickets sold and revenue net of discounts, and keeps Meta's figures labelled and separate.

What you get

  • One tracked link per ad, tagged as paid Facebook traffic

  • Orders counted at Trybe checkout, from paid orders, never modelled

  • Revenue net of discounts, with return on ad spend per ad and ad set

  • Meta's modelled results labelled “· Meta” and kept separate

  • Ads ranked by verified revenue; the leader gets a BEST badge

What is Tickets sold, verified at checkout?

Tickets sold, verified at checkout is how Trybe measures Meta ads for organizers selling on Trybe: it counts the orders that actually came through each ad, instead of trusting a model. Every ad Trybe publishes gets its own tracked link to the event page, tagged as paid Facebook traffic. When a fan buys through that link, the completed order is counted at Trybe checkout and appears as Tickets sold and Revenue, net of discounts, with return on ad spend. These figures sit next to Meta's own Results, Reach and Clicks, which are labelled “· Meta” and kept separate, because Meta counts views and models what it can't see while Trybe counts completed orders; the two will differ, and both are right about different things. The ranked list of ads uses verified revenue to decide which ad is best once a ticket has sold, and cost per result before that. Ad sets show tickets and revenue the same way, and the buyer's contact record shows which ad brought them. For Launches, ads count clicks, not sales.

How it works

  1. 1

    Each ad gets a link

When Trybe publishes an ad, it builds a tracked link to your event page, tagged as paid Facebook traffic.

  2. 2

    Fans click and buy

The link opens your event page on Trybe. Whoever completes checkout after arriving through it is counted as a verified ticket sold.

  3. 3

    Two columns, clearly labelled

Meta's Results, Reach and Clicks sit next to Trybe's Tickets sold and Revenue, with Meta's figures marked “· Meta”.

  4. 4

    Rank and decide

Ads are ranked by verified revenue, the best gets a BEST badge, and you pause or edit the rest while they run.

Questions organizers ask

How does Trybe attribute a ticket sale to an ad?

Each ad has its own tracked link to your event page. A completed order placed after arriving through that link is counted at Trybe checkout and shown as a verified ticket sold, with its revenue net of discounts.

Why does Meta report more purchases than Trybe?

Meta counts views and models conversions it can't observe, including people who saw the ad and bought later another way. Trybe counts only completed orders that came through the campaign's own ad links, so its number is smaller and certain. Both are shown and labelled so you can read them side by side.

What is return on ad spend in Trybe?

Verified ticket revenue net of discounts divided by what the ad spent, shown per ad, per ad set and for the campaign. It only counts sales at Trybe checkout, never Meta's modelled value.

Does attribution work for a Launch?

Partly. An ad can point to a Launch page with its own tracked link, and Trybe counts the clicks. Sales are not counted because the tickets are sold on another platform, not at Trybe checkout.

What if I change the ad's destination link?

The destination carries the ad's tracked link. Replacing it with an untracked URL stops ticket attribution for that ad, so keep the tracked link when you edit an ad.

How are ads ranked in the campaign?

By verified revenue once tickets have sold through them, and by cost per result before that. The leading ad wears a BEST badge, and each ad shows its share of the campaign's results.
