Two goals, chosen per campaign. Sell tickets asks Meta to find people likely to start checkout or buy, using the pixel events Trybe fires. Get the word out asks for reach, for a new night, a line-up reveal or a pre-sale.
Sell tickets: delivery optimised for people likely to start checkout or buy
Get the word out: optimised for reach when you need a first wave
Results follow the goal; ticket sales always show under Tracked by Trybe
Optimised on real pixel events: page views, carts, checkouts, purchases
Retarget page visitors and checkout starters in a follow-up sales campaign
Sales and awareness campaigns are the two goals a Trybe Meta campaign can have, for organizers and promoters. Sell tickets asks Meta to show the ads to people likely to start checkout or buy, using the pixel events Trybe fires from your event and checkout pages: ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase. In the Review step you choose what counts as a result: started checkout for a pixel that is still new, and purchase once the pixel sees about 50 purchases a week. Get the word out asks Meta for reach instead, which suits a first wave of attention: a new night, a line-up reveal, a pre-sale. Its results count visits, not sales, but any ticket sold through the ads still appears under Tracked by Trybe. The two goals combine well by hand: run an awareness campaign first, then a sales campaign aimed at people who visited the page or started checkout, plus lookalikes of your buyers, chosen in the ad-set editor. A learning indicator shows how far each ad set is from Meta's learning threshold.
Pick the event, then Sell tickets or Get the word out. This sets what Meta optimises for and what Results will mean.
For sales, choose started checkout on a new pixel or purchase once it sees about 50 purchases a week. Trybe recommends one.
Watch the learning indicator per ad set and avoid changing optimisation mid-way unless you mean to restart it.
Aim a sales campaign at page visitors, checkout starters and lookalikes of buyers from the ad-set editor.
Sell tickets when the event is on sale and you want purchases; Get the word out when you need attention first, for a new night, a line-up reveal or a pre-sale sign-up. You can run one of each for the same event.
It is the pixel event Meta optimises for. Trybe suggests started checkout while your pixel is new, and purchase once it records about 50 purchases a week, because optimising on an event Meta rarely sees leaves it with too little to learn from.
Yes. When your Meta Pixel is on the event, Trybe fires ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase from the event and checkout pages, in the browser and from the server with deduplication, so Meta learns from real buyers.
Meta's Results column counts what the goal asked for, reach and visits. Any ticket bought through the campaign's tracked links is still counted at Trybe checkout and shown under Tracked by Trybe.
You can aim a sales campaign at people who visited your event page or started checkout, and at lookalikes of your buyers, by choosing those audiences in the ad-set editor. They come from the pixel events Trybe fires.
Meta's period of finding out who responds to a new ad set; it ends after enough results. Trybe shows Learning with a count toward the threshold, and warns that changing optimisation, events or bids can restart it.
