Track sales with promoter links

Open the event, then Affiliates, and click Add Affiliate. Enter the promoter's name, email and a link handle: they get their own link by email. Every ticket bought through it is credited to them, with clicks, tickets and revenue per promoter.

Updated October 5, 2026

Steps

  1. 1

    Open Affiliates

Open the event and choose Affiliates in the Marketing group of the event menu.

  2. 2

    Add a promoter

Click Add Affiliate and fill in the first name, last name and email.

  3. 3

    Choose the link handle

The Link Handler ends their link, for example ?promoter=alex. Use letters, numbers, dashes or underscores; it must be unique on the event.

  4. 4

    Create and share

Click Create. The promoter receives their link by email, and you can Copy link to send it yourself.

  5. 5

    Follow the results

Each promoter shows clicks, tickets and revenue. Open one to see visits, traffic sources, countries and promo code usage. Orders they brought in show Referred by and their name.

Paying promoters

Trybe does not hold or pay commissions. Agree the deal with each promoter, then pay them yourself from your own payouts, using the tracked numbers.

Good to know

  • Changing a handle changes the link. Deleting a promoter stops their link and erases their history.
  • Promoter links also work on Launches, events sold elsewhere, where you see clicks and visits but not ticket sales.
  • Promo codes are separate: create them in Promo Codes in the event menu and share them as a link with ?promo=CODE.
