Run a Meta ads campaign from Trybe, and how ad spend works
Go to Marketing, then Facebook Ads, connect your Meta account and click New campaign. Pick the event and goal, the visuals, the audience and daily budget, then publish to Meta. You pay Meta directly for your ad spend: Trybe never touches it and adds no fee.
Updated October 5, 2026
Before you start
- A Facebook Page, a Meta ad account with a payment method, and ideally the linked Instagram account.
- Two to four images or videos for the ads.
Steps
Connect Meta
In Marketing, open Facebook Ads and click Connect Facebook. In Facebook's window, choose the Page, the ad account and the Instagram account Trybe can use.
Start a campaign
Click New campaign.
Goal
Pick the event to promote and the goal: Sell tickets or Get the word out.
Content
Choose 2 to 4 images or videos; each one becomes its own ad. Edit the headline, description and button.
Audience and budget
Set the area around your venue, the ages, the daily budget (at least 5 a day in your currency) and the start and end dates. Under 8 a day, Trybe warns you that a sales goal rarely finds buyers.
Review and publish
Check the summary and click Save campaign. It is saved as a draft and spends nothing until you click Publish to Meta.
How ad spend and billing work
The campaign is created in your own Meta ad account, and Meta charges the payment method on that account, on Meta's bill. Trybe adds no fee on ad spend and never holds your money. If the ad account has no payment method yet, you can still save and publish, but nothing runs until you add a card in Meta.
The Billing & spend page in Facebook Ads shows what you owe Meta, your spending limit and spend by campaign, with a link to Meta's receipts.
Tickets sold, verified at checkout
Every ad gets its own tracked link, so Trybe counts the tickets sold and the revenue at checkout and shows them next to Meta's numbers. The two will differ: Meta models what it cannot see, Trybe counts real orders.
Plans and availability
On the Free plan, 1 campaign can be live at a time; Pro removes the limit. Facebook Ads is in beta and is rolling out to accounts; if you do not see it in Marketing yet, contact support.
Questions
Do I pay Trybe for my ads?
No. Meta bills your ad account directly for what your ads spend. Trybe adds no fee and never touches your ad spend.
Do I need Meta Ads Manager?
No. You build the campaign in Trybe. It is created in your own ad account, so you can also see it in Ads Manager.
What happens if I disconnect Meta?
Published campaigns keep running on Meta, but Trybe can no longer publish, pause or read their results until you reconnect.
