Event themes in detail

Event themes are animated backgrounds for Trybe event pages, chosen per event by the organizer in the event editor and rendered identically on trybe.fm and in the Trybe mobile app. Themes are grouped in six collections. Classic holds Modest (a plain page), Vibemoji (41 floating emoji), Cosmic (fireworks) and Sci-Fi (a starfield). Shader holds nine animated looks (Aurora, Radiance, Liquid, Ethereal, Warp, Abyss, Fiesta, Brew and Zen) with three to four styles each. Scene holds Ski (Alpine, Christmas, Snowboard) and Beach (Tulum, Golden Hour, Tropical).

Signature is the Soirée collection for old-money nights, with eight styles from Discothèque to Super 8. Seasonal is the Halloween family with 13 styles, including Phantom, Blood Moon, Neon and Cobweb. Custom lets you upload your own SVG or PNG of up to 2 MB. Most families offer colour palettes; Cosmic, Sci-Fi, Ski and Beach have none. You preview the theme live while editing, and fans see it behind the cover, tickets and description. Included in the Free plan.

How it works

    Open the event editor

    Create or edit an event and go to the theme section.

    Pick a collection

    Browse Classic, Shader, Scene, Signature, Seasonal or Custom and choose a theme and style.

    Adjust the palette

    Choose a colour palette where the family offers one, and preview the result live.

    Save and check the page

    Save the event and open the public page. The theme renders behind the cover, tickets and description on web and in the app.

Questions organizers ask

Which themes can I use on a Trybe event page?

Six collections: Classic (Modest, Vibemoji, Cosmic, Sci-Fi), Shader (nine animated looks such as Aurora and Liquid), Scene (Ski and Beach), Signature (the Soirée collection), Seasonal (13 Halloween styles) and Custom. Each event has one theme.

Can I change the colours of a theme?

Most families offer colour palettes you pick in the editor. Cosmic, Sci-Fi, Ski and Beach come as they are, without palettes.

Do themes work in the Trybe mobile app?

Yes. The same theme renders on the event page at trybe.fm and inside the Trybe app, so fans get the same look wherever they open the event.

Can I upload my own background?

Yes. The Custom option accepts your own SVG or PNG file of up to 2 MB, so a flyer pattern or brand artwork can sit behind the page.

Do themes slow down the event page?

Themes are animated backgrounds drawn by the page itself, not videos, and the cover, tickets and description load as usual. Modest is a plain option if you prefer no animation.

Is there a Halloween theme?

Yes. The Halloween family has 13 styles, including Phantom, Velvet, Blood Moon, Ember, Static, Neon, Cobweb, Crimson, Roses, Raven, Cathedral, Heartbeat and Eclipse.
