Promo codes give organizers targeted discounts on Trybe tickets. A code takes a percentage or a fixed amount off, applies to all ticket tiers or only the tiers you pick (add-ons are excluded), and can be limited by a maximum number of uses, one use per person and a start and end date. Codes can be created for one event or for the whole organization. You can share a code as a link by adding ?promo=CODE to the event URL, so the discount is applied and visible before the fan reaches checkout; buyers can also type it in the order summary, with plain errors if a code is exhausted or does not fit their tickets. Tax is calculated on the discounted price, and a 100%-off code makes the order free with no fees. Each code reports tickets sold, discount given and revenue, in your event reporting and in My Page analytics. Automations can create a unique code per person, expiring after 7 days by default, for welcome offers or abandoned carts.
