Secure sign-in in detail
Secure sign-in is how organizers, their teams and their fans get into Trybe: with a one-time code. Accounts that already have a password can also choose Sign in with password, but fans, door buyers and new signups always use codes. Enter your phone number and receive a 5-digit code by text, or enter your email and receive a 6-digit code; you can also sign in with Google or Facebook, which is linked to the phone number on your account. Accounts are keyed by phone number, so a new account verifies the phone first and then the email.
There is nothing to remember and nothing that can leak from another website, and each device you sign in from gets its own session. Codes are protected against abuse with rate limits per phone number and region, and a check can be required when traffic looks automated. The same sign-in protects buyers on trybe.fm: buying tickets needs a phone or email code, while the door flow at the venue needs only an email code. Team members sign in with their own credentials, never with yours, and your language preference follows your account across devices.

Questions organizers ask
Can I still sign in with a password?
Yes, if your account already has one: choose Sign in with password on the login screen. Otherwise sign in with a one-time code by phone or email, or with Google or Facebook.
How do I sign in on a new device?
Enter your phone number or email and type the code you receive; a new session is created for that device. Team members do the same with their own phone or email.
What if I don't receive the code?
Use Resend code, or switch to the other channel: email instead of text or the reverse. Requesting many codes in a short time triggers a pause, so wait a moment before trying again.
Why does Trybe sign you in with a code?
A one-time code goes to a phone number or email address you control and expires after use, so there is nothing to guess, reuse or leak from another website. Google and Facebook sign-in are linked to your phone number, so one person keeps one account.
Do my fans sign in the same way?
Yes. Buying a ticket on trybe.fm takes a phone or email code, or Google or Facebook. At the door, the Trybe Pass flow needs only an email code so a fan can buy in seconds without an account.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes. Google and Facebook sign-in are available, and they are linked to the phone number on your account, so an existing account stays a single account.
