Secret location & dates to be announced in detail

Secret location and dates to be announced let organizers and promoters publish an event before every detail is fixed. With Secret venue you enter the real address so the map is ready, but the page shows “Secret location” and “Revealed closer to the event” to everyone, buyers included, while the city still shows so fans know where to travel. If the venue is not booked yet, turn on Venue TBA instead and the page marks the venue as TBA.

Date TBA works the same way: the event goes live without a date, the page shows TBA in its place, and the event's time zone is kept for when you set it. Tickets sell the whole time. When you are ready, edit the event and reveal the venue or the date; fans who follow you or hold a ticket get the update, and you can send an Event update by email or text to everyone who bought. Nothing is duplicated or re-published: it is the same event, the same link, the same tickets.

    Enter the name, tickets and cover as usual; add the venue if you know it.

    Turn on Secret venue, Venue TBA or Date TBA before publishing.

    The page shows the city and the placeholder; tickets sell the whole time.

    Reveal by editing

    Switch the toggle off or set the date; followers and ticket holders get the update.

Questions organizers ask

How do I hide the venue of my event until later?

Set the venue as usual, then turn on Secret venue in the event editor. The page shows “Secret location” and “Revealed closer to the event” with the city, and nobody, buyers included, sees the address until you turn it off.

Can I sell tickets for an event with no date yet?

Yes. Turn on Date TBA, publish, and the page shows TBA in place of the date while tickets sell. Set the date later by editing the event; the time zone you chose is kept.

What do fans see for a secret location?

The event page shows the city with “Secret location” and “Revealed closer to the event” where the venue block normally is. The event card shows the city too, so fans know where to travel.

How do I reveal the location or the date?

Edit the event, switch off Secret venue or enter the date, and save. The page updates right away, fans who follow you or hold a ticket get the update, and you can also send an Event update by email or text to every ticket holder.

Is the secret address really hidden from ticket holders too?

Yes. Secret venue hides the address from everyone, including people who already bought, until you reveal it. Enter it anyway when you create the event so the map is ready the moment you flip the switch.

What is the difference between Secret venue and Venue TBA?

Secret venue means you know the address and are hiding it on purpose; the page says “Secret location” and “Revealed closer to the event”. Venue TBA means there is no venue yet; the page marks it as TBA and you add one later.
