Secret location and dates to be announced let organizers and promoters publish an event before every detail is fixed. With Secret venue you enter the real address so the map is ready, but the page shows "Secret location — revealed closer to the event" to everyone, buyers included, while the city still shows so fans know where to travel. If the venue is not booked yet, publish with the venue to be announced instead and the page says "Location to be announced". Date to be announced works the same way: the event goes live without a date, the page shows "Date to be announced", and the event's time zone is kept for when you set it. Tickets sell the whole time. When you are ready, edit the event and reveal the venue or the date; fans who follow you or hold a ticket get the update, and you can send an Event update by email or text to everyone who bought. Nothing is duplicated or re-published: it is the same event, the same link, the same tickets.
